Zoe-perry
Perry is the daughter of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mom in both of the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. However, her parents were not keen to let her pursue acting until she became an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry claims she never wanted to be an actor in high school, but she decided to begin performing as a form of social interaction at Northwestern University when she switched from Boston University. Perry, after graduating from Boston University moved into New York in search of acting roles on television. Her small part was on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness led her to California in search of theater jobs. She appeared on Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. In the year 2015, she was alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of the ABC thriller The Family in 2016. In 2017, she starred in her own recurring part on her own ABC political thriller Scandal starring her father. She also played her younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. Despite having a family connection to the character she received the role through an audition.
